Underberg Bitters is a 150-year-old digestif made in Germany. Unlike other digestifs, it is sold only in 20 ML bottles, which are meant to be pounded in one go. The awkward packaging is probably the biggest reason you never see Underberg show up in a cocktail.

Underberg, nice. How long do you think that will last? Will anyone outside of Philly, Lancaster, Reading, and Pittsburgh buy it?

It's an SLO item, so I'm sure the vendor isn't expecting huge sales. It was probably requested by some German or Austrian restaurant, and they may be the only ones who ever buy it. (Aside from me, of course, now that I know it's available.)
