Montenegro Amaro, a fantastic amaro that was all but unavailable in the US for a couple years, is becoming popular again and was added to the online store. It has a predominantly orange/citrus flavor but doesn't have as much of the earthy botanics that make amari like Averna and Ramazzotti seem so heavy. I think of it like a cold-weather version of Campari.

Whipped Lightning is an...um...innovative new product. It's "the world's first alcohol-infused whipped cream." Basically it's flavored Reddi-Whip with grain neutral spirits in it. I'm not sure if it's the best idea ever or the worst idea ever, so I guess I'll have to order some and find out. [Edit 11/4: I'm told that the feds halted sales of Whipped Lightning while they make a ruling on whether it's a food product or an alcoholic beverage, so this product can't be ordered for the foreseeable future.]

Yay! The weekly update has arrived! Looks like some of the whiskies are starting to show up too. I can't wait to see what else shows up over the coming weeks!
I just saw Oronoco on sale for $29.99 in my local shop... is the infusion of new spirits still on track for this month?
Yep, things should be rolling in throughout November. Oronoco and Glenkinchie 12yr just showed up Monday.
Is there a list of what new whiskies will be appearing and when? I'm starting to run low on a few and I'm wondering how long I should wait to replenish my stock.
The only domestic whiskey in the initial in-store specialty selection that's not already in the online store is Old Overholt. The PLCB wanted to wait until the fall listing period to sort out American whiskeys so they could beef up the regular in-store selection. Come January we should see a nice infusion of both regular-listed and specialty-selection items.
Sounds good. I just visited the Fruitville Pike premium store and picked up my Knob Creek gift set (A FREE leather-wrapped flask!) and saw that Elmer T Lee has already hit the shelves. I saw there were a bunch of Makers Mark bottles with white and blue wax tops. Are these the Christmas bottles or are they another type of special run? Also, will we see Knob Creek Single Barrel?
And what is the deal with the buffalo trace antique collection, will they be coming to stores anytime soon?
Antique Collection has been ordered, we are waiting on Sazerac to deliver product, probably mid to late November. I'll post about it as soon as it shows up.
