The first thing most people notice about the Kah tequilas is that they come in a creepy skull. The bottles are modelled after the traditional calaveras made for Mexican Day of the Dead celebrations, resulting in product packaging reminiscent of a bad acid trip. Check 'em out. (If you think Kah looks a lot like Crystal Head Vodka, you're not the only one. Globefill, Crystal Head's parent company, took them to court and lost.) [Edit 6/15: Kah tequila is being pulled from stores due to supply issues.]

Two more limited-release whiskeys from Buffalo Trace hit the online store this week, Van Winkle 12-year and Van Winkle 23-year. I don't expect these to sell out as quickly as the other whiskeys that arrived recently, but you never know. Order now if you want some.

Barsol Pisco recently moved from Southern to Capital, so hopefully it will be available again soon. In the mean time, pick up some Don Cesar Puro at a specialty spirits store and see if it suits your fancy.
