'Tis the time of year when scotch flies off the shelves. Instead of whiskey, this year buy Dad a nice rum for a change of pace. Matusalem Reserve (#04952, Regular, $26.99), Zaya (#07612, Regular, $34.99), Mount Gay Extra Old (#08164, Regular, $44.99) and Angostura 1824 (#52855, SLO, $60.89) are all excellent sipping rums with enough character to win over any spirits lover. Whatever you do, though, don't get him Pyrat XO. Unless he enjoys drinking maple syrup straight from the bottle.
